This training is designed to enhance the skills, knowledge, and abilities of attendees by providing instruction on privately made firearms, machine gun conversion devices, and federal laws pertaining to them. This training will cover several topics including:
1. What is/is not a Privately Made Firearm (PMF)
2. 3D printed firearms
3. Undetectable Firearms – 922(p)
4. Machine gun Conversion Devices (MCDs) – function, capability, and identification
5. FELD will cover the New Frame/Receiver definition and Interstate Nexus of PMFs
Trainers will include professionals from the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) Firearms and Technology Division and Legal Division.
Who Should Attend?
State, local, university, federal and tribal SWORN law enforcement officers, investigators, or prosecutors.
