About the Event

Crisis Intervention Teams Training is an international training program. This training is supported by NAMI and CIT International. Instructors include those from law enforcement as well as mental health providers.

CIT's goal is to change the crisis response system to help provide more skilled and knowledgeable response to those in crisis. De-Escalation strategies are learned to diver individuals from the criminal justice system.

Topics include:

  • Mood Disorders
  • Substance and Addiction Disorders
  • Suicide
  • Mental Health Laws and Committals
  • De-Escalation Communication skills
  • De-Escalation Strategies
  • And much more

The training is free. Law Enforcement personnel will receive 16 hours CEUs
