Classification is an ongoing process from the time the inmate arrives and until the inmate leaves. This course will discuss the booking and classification process which includes medical, mental health, criminal, STGs, and the history of the inmate.

Class DescriptionInmate Classification - The process of assessing every inmate in the custody of your facility. This will include the medical, mental health, criminal, and security threat group history of the inmate. Classification is an ongoing process from the time the inmate arrives and until the inmate leaves your custody.
Booking - This will discuss the booking process from intake to release. It will include searches of the inmate and the inmate's property. The entry of criminal charges and supporting documentation that is required of the agency requesting housing of the inmate.
